I had a blockage in my carotoid artery, met with Dr Tiu and he discussed my options for a solution. We all know how some doctors don't seem to want to spend the time to hear our concerns, but he was more than willing to listen to me. We"ll I ended up having surgery all the plaque is gone from my artery and I fell great mentally and physically. I saw Dr. Francis Essien for a Hiatal Hernia. I was very surprised that he didn't know what GERD was. He was an incrdibly poor listener, as well as a very poor communicator. And he had a total lack of bedside manner in that he really didn't care about my condition.

While surgery is never fun, Dr. Cordero did a great job!! He clearly explained what my options were, answered all my questions, and showed genuine concern for my health. My surgery went as expected and I am now successfully recovering. During my follow-up appointment Dr. Cordero once again was very thorough with examining me and explaining what I needed to do to reach a quick full recovery. Hopefully I will never need to have surgery again, but if I do, I completely trust in Dr. Cordero and recommend him to anyone in need.

Dr. Mac is GREAT! I feel so lucky to have had her do both my surgeries. However, setting up the details of surgery with office personnel in charge of booking surgery was a nightmare. Could never reach her, Liz. She would not return my calls. Much unnecessary stress was added many times over, at a time when extra stress was detrimental. Everyone else in the office was great! And, Dr. Mac would be my choice in surgeons hands down every time.
